I just bought my first Rolex, after spending about four hours at the dealer over two days.

At first I was sceptical of the more royal blue, not to mention the gold, compared to what I've been wearing for the last 13 years, a titanium Eco-Drive with navy dial. I am quickly getting used to it.

I was surprised to not find any etching on the glass, or any markings on the back of the case, and also that the bracelet squeaks. Should I be concerned?

This was a bit of an impulse purchase, which is uncharacteristic for me. Before I purchased my latest car I spent a year trolling forums, and another couple months lamenting over options and colors.
