Nobody's denying the 372 isn't one of, if not THE most popular models in the current Panerai catalogue and as such gets used by aftermarket strap suppliers as the watch of choice to advertise their goods.

That wasn't the basis of the OP's original thread.

He simply wanted to know if the forum thought $1100 was a fair discount for a nearly new example compared to buying new.

To be fair your reply doesn't really answer any of the OPs questions it just confuses the issue with random comments about Strap suppliers??
