It looked like a daunting task to me. Fortunately, the directions are easy to understand. It is a step-by-step process which is well written. Once it is done, the lower left button handles all the usual Casio Functions. The three o'clock button handles the switch between the Altimeter, Barometer, Compass, and thermometer.
So, it is easy to use after the set-up.
