I checked it out today. On my 6.75in wrists the lugs were just too straight out and not contoured, creating space underneath the lugs just above the curvature of my wrist, which are pretty flat. I have a smaller wrist than you (~6.3) and I feel like the OEM strap is really stiff and could have been a driving factor in it feeling weird / sitting awkwardly.. Size wise, for my personal preference, I think it is a good modern size that works casually and dressed up.
I'm looking for some alternative straps to put on the watch. I don't think I'll be using the black shiny / patent leather band very much.
