I would be careful here. The pricing for Full Maintenance Service on Caliber 1861 has always been ~2X the cost of Full Maintenance Service on an uncomplicated movement, and I'm pretty sure service from Omega on uncomplicated movements is close to $500 (haven't checked their web site lately, but pricing used to be there).

Inquire with RGM and Nesbit's in Seattle. If you do decide to let Omega do it, then consider sending it to the Omega Service Center in Seattle, as their reputation for QC and turn-around is good (although the primary center in NJ has been performing very well, too).
