I don't choose watches anymore, they kind of choose me..
What I mean by this is when I'm looking too purchase a watch the best examples will draw me in; whether it be a 1680, 1675, 5513, 1016 etc. It's all about the condition & patina, what rings my bell at that moment. I'm of the mindset that I cannot own too many examples of a single reference :)
Sure sometimes I'm seeking a particular reference but when the stars align I'm not going to pass up a stellar 5513 or 1675 in lieu of a mediocre 1680.
