I have the Series 4 and really like it. I'm very tempted by aways on display. I think a lot of the other functionality is just marginally better than the Series 4, with the exception of the display and the increase of storage from 16 to 32 GB.
When I've flipped watches, none sell faster than an Apple Watch in my experience. This is because Apple supports older models for a number of years with software updates. In fact, the only watches not able to run Watch OS6 are the original models. Mine were usually sold within 2 hours and sometimes within 30 minutes.
An Apple Watch will most likely always be a part of my rotation.
