Generally it seems RdV doesn't do an official waiting list for non-VIPs. If something goes in the case, it's literally first come, first serve. I got my BLNR that way - I happened to be in the shop at opening and I saw a bunch of sales sending out texts letting people know one was in. I beat them all to it.
