Well, the deal is the Speedy is not even a bit waterproof, and I'm thinking a sub would actually be better choice, just to round out the collection you know. Thing is I don't go in the water much at all, and when I do it's only splashing around with the kids.
Will the GMT go swimming safely ?

I have had mine on the wrist for 23 years (aside from service). I swim and shower and have never had water ingress problems.
