I own the YMII for a few reasons.
#1 most rolexes look small on my wrist. I like the size of the YMII. It’s perfect.
#2 I like the design. A lot of people trash it but I find it elegant. If you have a small wrist, the watch looks ridiculous. But if you’re my size (6’3” and 225lbs thick wrists) then it will look elegant and understated.
#3 the word YMII on the bezel insert is not bigger than the numbers on a GMTII. It bothers people...it doesn’t bother me.
#4 when you lay it on a table next to your other professional rolexes, it doesn’t look like a toy. To me it stands out in a good way!

Me too I have a big wrist never measured it thou 5' 11' and 250lbs...
Use to be 330lbs... the Day date YG 36mm on my wrist looked like a lady's watch and felt like suffocating my wrist...
