The 1312 is thinner with smaller lugs and blue second hand and of course the different movement. The prices for preowned between the two is very close so I went with the 1312 and glad I did for the thinner case. If you are patient you can get a preowned one for $5200 and a new one from a trusted seller for $6k There is one for sale right now for $5200 from 2017 .

automatic (Cal. P. 9010), blued small second-hand, date, display back, 72-hour power reserve, WR 300m,

Width: 44 mm / Height: 53.5 mm / Thickness: 15.5 mm / Lug Width: 24 mm

The 312
automatic (P.9000 Calibre (in-house)), date, small seconds @ 9', display back, 72-hour power reserve, Ref. PAM 312,

Width: 44 mm / Height: 54 mm / Thickness: 18 mm / Lug Width: 24 mm
