In my experience around deltas of 8-10 are typical, even for watches under warranty.
Rolex watches are mass produced. Where there is a tolerance (as is the case for the delta), once it is ‘in tolerance’ there is no incentive or time allocated to making it substantially better. Meaning most watches are somewhere between the middle and the top of the tolerance.
