Don't worry, no one thinks the watch is fake. Looks like it is the Bromide that caused this. Get some Cape Cod or other polish and use a bit to see if the YG is revealed again, if so then you can relax knowing your watch can be restored fully by Rolex SC, hopefully for free if you explain your situation, or by any competent jeweller for a small fee.
