Although both are fantastic watches I could see how those points might deter someone who actually wear the piece for aquatic activities.
Lucky for Breitling that the vast majority of owners won't be doing these things. The irony is, one of the most inexpensive watches in my collection (Seiko Monster) has the best lume. For snorkeling even this can come in handy.
Still two fantastic watches though!
