Here's my battered 1675. I thought it was from 1970 from the serial number in the early 30's, but by reading that 1971-72 models seem to have serials in the high 2M, I'm not so sure. The current dial was installed as a replacement in the mid '90s, after a motorcycle accident that shattered the (plexi)glass, and made a shiny spot on the matte black background @ 10-11 o'clock. The date characters have the metal background, funky 3s and 4s, and non-closing 6s and 9s.

Any comments on the year, and if the dial is age-appropriate?
