You are correct. The way Panerai names and designates their movements is by adding a digit to the 3rd number. We started with the P.9000 then a unpgrade from that movement to the P.9010. If the movement was modified or changed in anyway, Panerai should have shown this by its new P.9020 name.
This is the fly in the ointment and where this Switcheroo stinks on Panerai’s behalf. At the very least, the optics are horrible for Panerai.
