Never understand the responses in these types of threads. Both Patek and Rolex make some wonderful pieces but generally at different price points and/or aimed at different market segments. Patek makes pieces that cover the full gamut of watchmaking from simple time only to split second chronos, tourbillons and minute repeaters - Rolex does not.
I appreciate both brands, own both brands but wouldn’t ever directly compare them model to model.
If you need a wonderful tool watch then Rolex is king, if you love watches for the miracle of mechanical workmanship then Patek rules.
