There will always be "the next one" on your mind. I bought a Sea Dweller years ago, loved it, so got a Tudor Big Block to compliment it. Loved it, so got a D-Blue to compliment it. Wanted a little variety, so picked up a Bark Daydate. Loved it. Now I'm looking for the next one. I've been looking at 16570s and 16750s, because why not?

There were another dozen or so along the way that didn't quite float my boat, so I sold them and moved on. If I could have one back, it would be the 1979 1680 I once had. It was perfect, but prices were climbing and I wanted the Deepsea at the time, so the sale helped fund that. I'd buy it back in 2 seconds if I could.

I know this is the Vintage section, but my point is: Buy whatever you like, not what we tell you!
