Thank you everyone for the feedback! As others have mentioned, depreciation on this and other Speedys seems to be pretty steep, which is why I have decided that if I do decide to get one, it would have to be second hand. Perusing some of the TRF trusted seller listings, it looks like $6,200 to $6,500 is the going rate for a mint GSotM time piece. So, that will likely be my route.
I was particularly impressed by how well it wore and felt on the wrist. Very light, and it definitely didn't feel like a 44mm case.
