Letting them acclimate. Also just finished setting up my first humidor two days ago. Fun process. I did have a question for you vets out there, obviously I am sure it is not ideal to constantly open your humidor, I have the analog hygrometer that came with the humidor and I purchased a Xikar Puro Tempo that came highly recommended. Question is, is it common for the digital hygrometers to start going down at a steady rate when the humidor is open? My humidor stays at 70% constantly and when I open it, it will drop to 65% and 60%.

Yes especially when your house is air conditioned during hot summer months. Cuban cigars smoke much better at 65% humidity instead of 70%. Some guys even store at 62%. Draw and flavors are better.
