I just checked the size of the original pepsi insert and came up with an ID of 30.26 and OD of 37.82mm - close enough to what you had and I was using a manual micrometer, not digital.
The black insert that I was sold has an ID 30.24 and OD of 37.91?? Tried everything to get it to fit but no joy. Do you know if there were ever these kinds of variations? The ID being the same as your measurements of the 1675/16750 rule out it possibly being for the 16700 series as I originally thought may be the problem.
I am certain this is an original insert. Any ideas?
