The black insert that I was sold has an ID 30.24 and OD of 37.91?? Tried everything to get it to fit but no joy. Do you know if there were ever these kinds of variations? The ID being the same as your measurements of the 1675/16750 rule out it possibly being for the 16700 series as I originally thought may be the problem.
I am certain this is an original insert. Any ideas?

Had same issue. I have a black insert for my 16710 and it willnot fit on the watch. The insert is .2mm too thick when compared to my others.
