Icon20 Rolex 1675 ( 1972) 55 End links very bad

Hi All,

I have a late 1972 1675 and fancied a change from the 7836/380 OYSTER so got myself a 6251H jubilee with 55 end links. The clasp code is 4/72 so was very happy until I fitted it and this happened, see photo.

I have read lots of posts on here but now very confused what is the best to do.

I'm using the normal fat spring bars from the oyster that just about work.

As you can see the 55's look too shallow to me and too short in depth or am I missing something. I have even been looking at shoulderless curved spring bars. I'm wondering have these 55's been molested alone the way or this is how they are?

I also read that 550 end links are good but will they sort this problem or is something else going on.

As always very grateful for all comments and advice given to this novice.20220513_181829.jpg
