Icon2 FS: Vintage Seiko 5 Sportsmatic Weekdater (1965)
This stylish, mid-1960s vintage Seiko is in very good condition, and currently sporting a Milanese mesh strap that I picked up from WatchGecko a couple of years ago. I will also include the vintage Seiko ‘railroad’ bracelet that it came to me with a few years ago. (It’s 100% genuine, but I can’t say for sure if it is original to this particular watch.)

Also included are the original box and papers from Thong Sia in Singapore, and a spare acrylic crystal that is correct for this reference.

Case condition very is good, with some wear on the caseback but all text and the “5” logo are still visible.

The movement appears to be in good physical condition, and showing ok vintage time at under +30 seconds a day in the dial-up position, with minimal beat error and good amplitude on my timegrapher (see final pic below).

I also have this 1960s or 70s Seiko postcard showing the Thong Sia Seiko boutique and showroom in Singapore, which I'll include with the watch.
