FS: 1973 Rolex 1601 Datejust 18K/SS with Thomas Preik Clear Sapphire Caseback



This watch is in excellent overall condition. There are light marks from use, but nothing major. The dial is original with all lume plots intact. Please refer to pictures for exact condition.


The watch is keeping good time and was serviced in 2015 by a private watchmaker. During that time, it received a new mainspring, had the clear case back installed, and was pressure tested with the new case back. The case back is a Thomas Preik clear sapphire case back, purchased directly from him in Germany. The watch also comes with the original stainless steel case back, seen in the pictures.



It also comes on a generic leather strap, also shown in the pictures.
