My Doggie LUNA is Sick
So, l watched the game at home alone tonight with my Rat Terrier LUNA in my lap. She was feeling sick last week; fever, not drinking, eating for 2-days and just out of it.
We took her to the emergency vet and they put her on an IV to get fluids into her, pain killers and antibiotics. She stayed for 36 hours overnight. Got her back home on Saturday evening. She is sleeping a lot and on medication. After loosing our 11 year old Beagle/Boston terrier Bella 6 months ago this has been very difficult. Hopefully she recovers and is back to her happy self soon!

Sorry to hear this I hope she gets better soon.
Did the Vet pinpoint what was wrong? I just had my dog get an ultrasound due to blood in the urine to find out she has some kidney stones that led to a UTI and infection now she is on a 3 week antibiotic course. One ultrasound session and they will check your dogs entire body since they are so small, well worth it. Feel better Luna ! |
