Decisions Decisions

I must pick up a precious metal piece to compliment my GMT (116710LN)! I need your help! Leaning hard towards a 36mm YG Day-Date but also a 40mm precious metal professional model is tough to beat. FWIW I dont trade watches, I prefer to keep them forever.

Why must you? Someone has a gun to your head? Haha.

How about Daytona on Oysterflex?

I've been fortunate enough to own a few in my time and it really does depend on your preferences and in what situation you will wear it:

1) Since you dont mind a yg piece then for me the two stunners are yg Sub blue dial; classic iconic bullet proof OR yg daytona with anniversary green dial.
2) For wg I would have either the wg Sub (Smurf) recently just bought myself and I love it or the wg Daytona on OF which is a beautiful beautiful watch but I personally couldn't get on with the OF bracelet.
3) If rg then I owned and loved the new rose GMT but you already own a GMT so I'd go rose DD with green anniversary dial.

Lovely scenario to be in - happy hunting

I love the bluesy, but if you're looking at a true "forever" watch, IMO that's got DD40 written all over it.

I agree with the DD40 as a "forever" watch. Fits into more situations easier than a gold Rolex sport model.

I agree as well that DD40 seems the perfect choice. I prefer a white PM DD36 however.

A lot of nice choices out there. I'm in the DD40 WG (wannabe) camp although the Smurf might be one to try on as well. Happy Choosing your PM keeper......

I would go DD2 at 41mm instead of DD40 if you want to go president.

Personally, outside if GMT2 in PM, I’d go either YG Sub (landlord watch)or RG YM OF (subtle-ish) or Daytona 519C

Im thinking, YG DD President, WG DD40, or YG sub/gmt II, also, YG daytona with white dial though the daytona is a coin flip. I really like having a date on my watch but IMHO a yellow gold daytona is a sight to be seen. I am more of a laid back guy but I have to flex a little. Self made guy...business owner now. The president just sings! No one to impress here.
