My Powermatic 80... feels like crap.
I purchased a Hamilton Pan Europ with the H30 (Hamilton branded eta powermatic 80). From day one, winding it felt like manualy turning a blender full of ice cubes. Shortly after the warranty ran out, it started gaining approx 7 minutes per day, so I sent it back to Hamilton for a full service.
The watch came back keeping excellent time, but it still feels like a $3 watch when winding it. I have a $100 Invicta pro diver that feels Much better, and my Hamilton Khaki Pilot GMT with the eta 2893-2 is smooth as silk. Anyone else had a similar experience with this movement, or any thoughts as to why it feels so crappy? |
