Rolex submariner ceramic bezel insert anodization

On my 2017 Submariner 116610 the numbers and markers on the ceramic bezel are fading in color from white to a light brown, copper tone color. The watch has little wear and has not been exposed to harsh elements.

Is this a common issue with this model. Has anyone else experienced this type of color oxidation on the bezel numbers and markers.

I'm not sure but I think the markers and numerals are platinum filled. Platinum shouldn't oxidize into a brown color. Maybe it's just dirty. Have you tried cleaning it with some soap and water?

I'm sure you don't mean anodized.

If the PVD sprayed numbers are stained, then it is likely from cleaning/rubbing material residue.

Take it to your dealer and have them steam clean the numbers and bezel.
