Ask - Breitling Colt Automatic 44mm

Dear All members,

I would like to ask you regarding Breitling Colt Automatic.
Because yesterday, I saw Breitling Colt Automatic with diver pro III and deployment buckle. I Like the model is very simple, rubber band, and when the staff put the LED light on the watch, the color of lumina is very nice.

Is Breitling Colt is the basic model of Breitling?

I love Breitling because I already used breitling since 2001 and the watch is very good for everyday use, Especially for work in the office.

Kindly waiting all members good response

Thank you

Davin

Colt is the entry level price-wise but still a solid watch, at least it's the auto not the quartz. I preferred it at 41mm, is now too bloated at 44mm, unless you have really bit wrist.

I prefer your Montbrilliant to be honest.

Have you considered other brands, what about a Omega Speedmaster. On a horology level it is far superior than the colt.

I looked at a colt for my first high end watch. Stylistically I felt it would fall out of fashion unlike Rolex and some other brands, and it was about the same price as my Oyster Precision so I went with the Rolex. Now that they're 44MM, not a chance id consider it. I'd be looking at Tudors and Used Rolex/Omega at that price point.

Nice watches, I looked at them too. They are very tough. Buy one if you like it. You should know it will depreciate quickly. To me that simply means it can be a real bargain if purchased "pre-owned". Let someone else take the big hit.

yeah you're right a swatch owned brand without inhouse movement is much more prestigious than a private botique watch company with several inhouse complete chrono movements with 72 hr power reserve.

The omega is clearly a better watch since they are not all chronometer rated and use elabore ebauches versus in house or chronometer grade eta ebauches. /sarcasm

What do you mean, Omega has quite a few in-house movements now, 8000-9000 calibers?

Any way I wasn't talking about movements, just giving the OP another option. The Colt is just, well a Colt and the Omega Speedmaster professional is one of the most legendary watches ever made, still true to the original and has the greatest watch story/history ever.
