Choice of three beutiful Vintage pices or one Patek

Hello All, I'm at an impasse trying to decide and would love to hear some others thoughts. I currently own a Daytona 16520 in SS in excellent condition, a 1978 Rolex GMT in amazing condition on a rivet bracelet with little stretch and an Omega 145.012 SP (1968 with 321) and a great Heuer 2446C ist execution Abercrombie and fitch. I recently saw and tried on a Patek Philippe 5960P with the grey sunburst dial and sort of fell in love with it. I love the annual calendar and chrono function. Unfortunately, I would have to sell three of my four other watches including the Daytona to buy this. It would also likely become close to a daily wear. I think this particular patek seems undervalued among the others and I am not very fond of the white dial. I like being able to swap my watches and my purchases would be limited for a time if I did this. Any thoughts here since we are both Rolex and patek? My 16520 is my daily wear. They are great watches and I own them to wear them, but I also like to know that they could grow in value for my son etc.. Would you guys do the patek over the three amazing vintage pieces?

I’d be tempted to keep the Pepsi if it’s as nice as you say

Can't have it both ways, you like this watch because it is low priced but then you want it to go up in future, it's one or the other, ie buy high and hope for higher, in this market. I'd make the move if you really do love this PP.

Being that is one of my favorite watches ever constructed it would be a yes for me. I’m pretty sure there is a deal to be had out there too considering the focus is on other timepieces in the pp lineup now.
If you’re concerned about leaving your son money watches aren’t the way to go.

Hi all, thanks for input. I agree and not buying these for investment but pleasure. Just like to buy smart and I dont think there is anything wrong with that. It's a beautiful watch I'd wear very proudly.

I’ve always liked this reference, so I’d be tempted to do it

Variety is the spice of life. I would keep the vintage pieces. If you liquidate and buy the 5960 that's gonna be your only daily option going forward.

Absolutely not. It sounds like you have 3 winners currently that give you great variety and are in demand. This watch although beautiful sells for half its list price and truth be told they currently don't sell at all due to little demand. I would enjoy the 3 you mentioned in this thread and if you must have this then try to find a way to add because it is a bargain at today’s prices.

I think its a personal question. As a hobby it’s always fun to get something new. All depends if the patek speaks to u
