Q on using an inkwell
Hello all, I have a question about nuances of using an ink well with FP? Does anyone do it, are there any tips?
I normally use two black inked FP's at work, however some documents require my signature in "blue ink". Since it is rare, only a few times a month at most, I was thinking of getting a dedicated FP to dip into blue ink, use it to sign signature, quick rinse and put away until next time. Because of infrequency of needing blue ink I didn't want pen nib drying out between uses with cartrigde or full piston type. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. |

You can certainly dip any FP and use it then rinse and put it away. Happens all the time.
I have a collection of inkwells that I have put together over the years, but do not use them as they are just a collection. I would just get a bottle of your favorite blue ink and do as you intended.
