OT Swiss TO - Sigma
Hi TRF guys,
Can someone shed some light to me on the attached dial picture? I have never seen on a dial that says OT Swiss TO (I assume the O is the symbol for sigma) based on some research I've done. Can someone tell me if this dial is legit and if it's normal? This is a 1973 Datejust 1603. Thanks

I was of the understanding that the OT signifies white gold markers.

'O' gold, and 'T' is Tritium, maybe?

When Rolex was first changing over to gold surrounds they marked those with "oT Swiss To", the steel surrounds were marked "-T Swiss T-". They did this in the 70's, so your dial is likely original to the watch.

Thinking of getting this 1603 DateJust 1973
Hi Guys thanks for the ones who have responded. I still need your input.
I think I am about to pull the trigger on this; before this let me get your opinion. 1603 DateJust 1973: SS, rare WG sticks blue pie pan dial in great condition (un-refinished), original acrylic crystal (polished) the watch was factory serviced in 2005, the bracelet is not the one that came with the watch in the 70’s, it was replaced at AD in 2005 with a newer one during service 62510H, bracelet has zero stretch. Seller asking for: $2600 brought him down to $2000. Is this a good price for the condition and history? Caliber is 1570 keeping time at -6 seconds a day. Is this acceptable? Pictures attached. Let me know if I should go for it or walk away. Cheers
