More Patek. Nautilus 5980.

Sorry, not the greatest quality pics.

I love this watch and the box it comes in. All incredible quality.

I have not sized it yet, hopefully soon ......

Hope everyone enjoys the photos.

My buddy has one, he says there is not a picture out there to do the watch any justice at all.
I have yet to see it in the flesh.
Looks great, enjoy that beauty.

John,

Absolutely true..... No picture can do this watch justice.

I almost traded this piece until I took it out for some pictures. I then realized I could NOT give it away.

I just saw this post.

Congratulations! One of my favorite watches on the planet. So balanced, a real stunner. I've seen one in person, but only in the display case. If you're ever coming over to Manhattan & want to hook up, let me know. I'd love to meet up & see the watch on the wrist (yours, of course).

Enjoy that treasure!

Hi Howard,

Absolutely, I am in Manhattan on occasion, but not as much as I used to be.

I actually need to get to the city to size this beauty.

I just traded my 5711 so I need to have a Patek to go on my wrist (when there is no Rolex or Tudor that is).

I would love to meet up for a drink or two. I will shoot you a PM next time I am heading into the city.

Pav,
That would be great. I work in Tribeca, live in the Village. I'd love to meet up, and to hear your comments about giving up the 5711 for the 5980.

Best,
Howard

Sounds great Howard. I live in Bay Ridge so you are a small hop away.

Now that's a watch! I just discovered these myself, they are in a class of their own, IMO. Just stunning. Shame it costs as much as a luxury car. Enjoy!

Well, I don't drive a Ferrari, have a mansion on a hill, wear fancy clothes, have 10 GF's (this would be most expensive) .....

So I have to spend my hard earned money on something......

Well, the price has dropped a lot recently.

I see it on eBay new as low as 34k.
