AP bracelet from secondary market

Was just wondering is it possible to get a used AP gold bracelet ? I have a 41mm gold ROC, was wanting to get a RG bracelet, but the price the boutique is offering for the bracelet seems a bit steep (20k usd).

$20k seems like a good price.

I thought they were $25k from a boutique or AD.

Why risk a fake bracelet?

20k sounds low actually. I would go with that, it seems pretty reasonable. Its also new vs getting something that might be polished, etc.

I bought mine from Clearwater directly a few years ago. Depending on which model, you’ll get an exact fit and of course it will be genuine. I believe the prices will be similar to what you would have paid buying the bracelet version first (it used to be the case that it was a little cheaper to buy the watch on a strap and then add a bracelet). I love the option so it was a great move for me.

Their price was $18.3k

Are you talking about Clearwater, FL AP service center?

Yes. AP service center in Clearwater, FL.

They are quit good and responsive. I prefer to work with them directly instead of going through our local AP store.

I generally work with Norma.

I just saw a receipt for a full rose fold bracelet for a 15300 dated January 2021 from APNA, Fl and the price $22.8 plus tax. I’m going to have to guess it’ll be around the same price for the 41 ROC.

Ok maybe I’m a little outdated. The bracelet used to be $20k..... but if it’s 28k damn that’s expensive

Have you considered checking/buying from an AP Boutique in Europe?
You would get the tax refund but not sure if the insured shipping would make it prohibitively expensive.
I know that at least for the watches, they are usually amongst the cheapest in Switzerland specially when factored in the tax refund.

I would consider making a vacation out if it and get the VAT refund

Interesting. At 20k I would grab it. The SA at Material Good was telling me that to purchase the RG bracelet now is ~40k.

I recently picked this up and it was important that it was all original to me.

I think there is tremendous variability depending on which model you are purchasing the bracelet for and some of it takes into account the price difference between the strap and bracelet model.
