Broken pin on Sub 16610

Hi everyone
The end of the pin broke on my 16610 1999 Submariner. Except for this everything about the bracelet is fine.
Can the pin be replaced / laser welded back into the clasp.
I know if i sent it to Rolex Mel they would say a new bracelet is the only way but i wanted to keep it original.

"The end of the pin broke.."

This is pretty vague.
