Fascinating Submariner 3135 Movement Service Video

I could watch videos like this all day and never get bored.

You guys have probably seen this or similar vids before, but for anyone who hasn't its definitely worth putting 6:45 mins of your life to one side to take a look - you can thank me later!... lol

https://youtu.be/wfNOgWGME_c

Anyway, apols if this has been shared previously - its not new, but like I said, worth a look if never seen before, or another look even if you have seen it.

That amazing sunburst blue dial in the first minute or so is worth a look on its own!

Cheers guys - enjoy the rest of your day..

I like his response about his nails:

Hello, I'm the watchmaker in this video. This nail thing is getting out of hand. No pun intended. The reason I keep them a bit longer than usual is because I use them as tools. If you take the time to look at my right hand index finger nail, it has a notch, used for filing stems to size. They also help me to select bench tools without having to look for them. Now for the important use. If mahoud has ever polished a platinum day date, or a 69173 jubilee he'll know that to ensure the grained links are grained evenly, along the flat and edge, being able to offer the link to the wheel securely requires the link to be folded over its self to achieve an even grain. Having nails facilitates this.

Had never considered a watchmaker going to that length (pun unintended) to enhance his ability to work.

Notice the 30 replies to the guy who asks why not just buy a quartz.
