The 5167A as a daily?

Would anyone recommend the 5167A as a daily watch? How robust is the case and movement?

I would recommend it as a daily watch. Really comfortable in all seasons. It is light yet felt robust on the wrist.
I haven't had any issue with the movement so far.

In terms of aesthetic, it is in the eyes of the beholder. For me it is beautiful.

PS, I had to bought it back after I sold it

It's funny, I also bought mine back after selling (5165 though as I have small wrists).

It's a perfect daily watch. Slim, sporty, and Patek movement quality.

It's a fine daily.

The only thing I found with it in the summer in short sleeve shirts is it looks small on the wrist. Other than that go for it.

After reading lots of different options, I took the plunge last week..couldn't be happier with it!..it's very comfortable and has great wrist presence. My 60 year old eyes have no problem seeing the time, and the best thing is my wife loves it!!(has no idea of cost).

Life is short...enjoy it

Great daily, especially if you've got a smaller wrist.

I'm comparing the 5167A with the VC overseas grey dial (on rubber strap, date time only). The overseas is antimagnetic, is the 5167A antimagnetic as well?

i've had mine for 6 years and it gets regular normal wear that's no different from how I wear my Rolexes. Apart from an early problem with the winding crown it's been just fine ever since.

Great daily and doesn't look small on wrist at all. That is, if you don't have a small wrist to begin with.

Great daily, I wear mine in rotation. Comfortable and one of the most legible watches I own. I would not subject it to activities involving heavy impacts or shocks.

I would definitely recommend it for everyday use super comfortable but don't be surprised if you find the bezel ending up with multiple scratches after everyday use

I could sell my entire collection and wear my 5167 as a daily... In fact, I wear my 5167 99% of the time anyways..

Are people paying retail price for the 5167 or AD giving slight discounts?

Congrats, you'll be fine until your wife knows the cost, well it depends in fact on the wife, without mine I would still be in 6-8k max watches, to this date the most expensive was the 5726, not ready for a RM yet but one day should get there, she keeps expanding the limits, only backside is she does the same thing with handbags and other girl things, that sucks...

Well AD's in my neck of the woods don't even want to put you on waiting list for it, at least the SS one, too much demand... Same goes for the salon in Paris
