Unworn rolex

If I own Rolexes that are unworn for years....like 5-10....is it bad for the watch to not take it out once In a while and "run" them like wind up? If it is bad for the watch then how frequently should they be wounded or should they be kept on a winder?

right, the intention is that the oils keep moving and dont stick in one spot or dry that way. cause it might gum up the works.

Just curious as to why they're not being worn?

Winding won't work, you have to wear them that day as well, Stella. TRF rules.

Multiple reasons
1. My ladies DJ was a gift for grad school graduation but a year or two after I got it my taste changed and I only like full size rolexes now....will never sell it since it has so much sentimental value
2. My has a few but only one is appropriate for daily work wear and he is not the best with rotating them...and has fallen into the trap of thinking he's afraid to damage them from wear
I know I know ...this will be changing
It sounds so silly when I write it down :)
