What is the most comfortable buckle?

What is more comfortable on the strap? Tongue (tang?) or adjustable (deployent?)?

What are the most comfortable straps? I wore out my oem black alligator and finding the rubber quite comfy.

How much does a replacement tiny deployent screw cost? That must be the worlds tiniest screw!

The tang buckle is more comfortable for me. The deployant buckle digs into my wrist and is very uncomfortable.

As for most comfortable straps, I find that OEM straps fit the bill. I have the tunnel strap that came with the 233. It's too loose on my wrist because of the hole placements. Very soft and comfy strap though. I also have an OEM Cashmere and OEM JV strap. There are my favorites. I find myself reaching for the rubber more often then my other straps though.

Tang buckle for me, it's easier to put on and very comfortable than the deployant. Plus there is less warping of the leather on tang than on deployant translating to longer leather strap life.

I like Piotr buckles (tang). I find the large size keeps it from digging into my wrist. I tried on a deployant clasp and I didn't care for it at all. Tang all the way for me.

Are straps compatible with both buckle styles?

My rubber strap was almost impossible to thread into the deployant half that secures into the strap holes. Any tips for feeding the thick rubber into the deployant buckle?

for my rubber strap, it's simply the angle of the clasp. in some positions it is wider open.
