Icon5 ><><><><><><>< 116618 or 116619 Picking one within the hour ><><><><><

I have had the YG flat Dial 2x, but never the Sunburst...

I wonder if the 116618 dial will get patina like the 16618, which some turn purple...?

What was wrong with the Daytona?

You need to branch out and get something you haven't owned before....obviously you didn't like them enough the first time.

Maybe a Day Date or SkyDweller.

Go 619 - unless yellow gold is a "thing" for you. Where I was raised it'd be too gaudy or over the top and I wouldn't feel comfortable with it in front of folks.

Yes it is a bit over the top, but that sunburst dial has life!

I think I need to stop worrying about 1 Rolex for all purposes, and get a few for different occasions...

The YG would be my "For-Me" watch, because the dial in the sun or in the pool, is nothing like it...

But then again...

There is a lot of life in the dial of the 619 as well imho, love it most in bright sun light. Really pops

That's a difficult choice... I'm glad I"m not in your shoes. Actually that's a lie. I wish I was in your shoes having to make such a difficult decision. Overall I prefer WG to YG, but the YG Sub is really eye catching. Sunburst is probably > flat dial. Here's a suggestion: YG Sub and add WG Daytona blue dial.

The YG sunburst. And no, it shouldn't turn purple like some of the past did.

Try the flat blue first: it's my favorite out of all my PM watches. Sunburst is amazing on the LVc but this flat blue is perfect for my lifestyle. If I had a 116618, although, maybe a flat blue 116618 would be very nice, I'd still be a little uncomfortable at meetings or just in general.

I had my Black Bay Red and WG Sub this week in Florida that I had brought from NV but wore my Black Bay to the meeting to seal a sweet wine deal. The Brasilians liked it very much. They all had PM Rolex, AP and PP. One big happy meeting
