Would you trade a 118206 Glacier Roman for a 5059R?
I was thinking of trading my Glacier Roman Platinum Day Date for a 5959R plus cash. I spoke to the dealer who has the watch and the cash differential is not insignificant. I was hoping the gap would be smaller. At this point I was curious as to whether you would do that trade? Thx much

Edit: Damn I misread the reference as 5959. Anyway if I had the choice I would trade, its a perpetual calendar after all.

I would definitely much rather own a PP5959 than a DD if I had that opportunity. I'm sure someone with more experience will be along shortly. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you.
Edit: Oops mistook this for 5959 instead of 5059.

Ah, so I'm not going blind. It was changed mid stream.
Cool. I'd have to find out whether this made financial sense before proceeding. How much I would lose on the DD and much more the PP would cost. Not knowing this I do think the 5059 is more appealing to me than the DD. The other question I would want to find out is how much of a difference in cost is it to service this refference vs. the DD. Where does it stand in regards to it's last service? I always like to clear all of these financial things up before proceeding.

Yes, in a heartbeat. Complete 5059R, open papers, mint? Winding box? Really awesome piece.
