Collectors question
Hope everyone is having a great start to 2022. Considering consolidating/selling one of my 4 pieces. Would love to hear recommendations on which to let go/swap for. Torn between bottom 2 but still on edge and undecided (top 2 not considering)
Collectors recommendations welcome! |

Kinda insane to say this, but if you had to sell one I'd make it the nautilus

If you must let one go, I would pick one of the ROs since you have two of them. My least favorite is the white dial.

Daytona. Other three are all on a different level. With your buying power you could easily replace it with another steel Rolex sport watch.

sell the Rolex.
keep the gold RO. I think every collection needs a gold watch to go to replace the rolex with a daily beater. |

I'd trade the Gold RO for a newly released ROC even if you don't get the special rotor.

I would probably sell the 116500. Mass produced vs limited production.

I would prolly say get rid of the gold RO. Steel is the wtg imo.
But here’s another option- sell all 4. To me. At your cost price. Then retire and live happily ever after Lmao #decisions decisions Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

As the Nautilus and Jumbo are not on the chopping block this can't be driven by cash flow considerations. If consolidation is the goal, I'd convert the 15400OR and Daytona into the new 26240OR ROC - blue to make it a blue-dial-themed collection or khaki for some variety. That would be a killer collection covering all bases, with the top-of-the-game at each position.
Edit: Blue dial 26240ST would also be a consideration, to make it all blue-dial steel and free up some cash. |

What a 4-watch collection. The Daytona for sure - not that special IMO

are you just considering getting rid of one? or swapping one? i would get rid of the daytona if you wanna get rid of one, or swap both or 1 of the bottom 2 for a gold day date or PM daytona. ideally i would just swap the daytona alone but if you wanna consolidate id go with both of those. tough choice because a gold AP is really special

Unless you find yourself often going for the gold RO, that's the one I'd sell.
Thats a pretty solid 4 watch collection I must say! |

Do you actually use the chrono feature of the Daytona? If so, with it being your only chrono, then keep it. What are you looking to get? If you sold the Daytona, would you get enough back to fund the new purchase?

Many would say the yellow gold RO, but I think it's probably going to be a lot more difficult to find someone who's' willing to pay what you'd consider the market price for that one compared to the Daytona.
Have you considered getting rid of both of the watches in the bottom, and getting a gold-oysterflex Daytona? In my opinion that would really make an amazing three watch collection! |

Yeah definitely sell one of the royal oaks, honestly maybe the top left to make the collection most well rounded

I would say sell one of the royal oaks. Having a Nautilus, RO and Daytona as your collection is pretty special. Difficult to say which RO though as personally prefer the jumbo but keeping the gold one may make your collection more rounded.

Id sell the Nautilus. If any watch it’s in a price bubble that could crash it’s got to be that one.
