YG turns me off. Sorry.
I am very much a SS person. SS with leather would look really good. |

Get the watch with a bracelet and buy a good quality leather strap. Gives you the ability to enjoy both.

I would get the bracelet as well, though I prefer WG.

YG Bracelet. However, YG on bracelet is always available at a great price.

Both leather straps and metal bracelets have a place in the yellow gold watch world. We argue all the time around here on what's a "sport" watch and what isn't. Your personal opinion and how you plan to wear the watch are very important to making up YOUR OWN mind.
Personally, I find a leather strap tends to dress up a watch, but greatly limit its utility. Let's consider the obvious example, the Daytona. You could wear it in a widely variety of conditions on a bracelet that would quickly trash a strap. So they both look good, just pick how you plan to wear it. |

Definately gold! While some models look really sharp on a strap (ie Ex I), save the strap for your Cellini.

Problem is Howard not all bracelet models accept a strap cleanly so it can be an either or question.
A bigger issue with an AP ROO etc, but also one with some Rolex models such as the obvious candidate, the Daytona. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...racelet+straps |

Gold bracelet for sure. In my opinion, Rolex should always come with a metal band not leather.

The big advantage of a watertight watch is that you can wash it thoroughly and frequently - even if you never go swimming with it. As a result, my watertight watches are always incredibly clean (no buildup of dead skin or other schumtz in there). Put a leather strap on there and that advantage is lost. Leather straps on dive watches are just plain silly. |

Thank's everyone. Clearly bracelet is the winner here. Personally, I will go with YG bracelet rather than leather. Just the weight of the watch make me consider leather as an option.
