Can a 126710 jubilee be fitted to 116234?

Hi guys,

As some of you, I'm waiting for a call for my 126710.

This may take a while and would therefore like to add a 116234 to the collection. Blue stick dial fluted. The jubilee bracelet sings most to me, however, I do not feel comfortable holding 2 jubilee watches in a, I hope, not to distant future.

My question being, do you think I could go with 116234 on Oyster and switch with jubilee?

Read that the opposite could be done with a small gap but didn't find any info the other way round.

Thanks for your input !

It is my understanding that the BLRO Jubilee uses a unique spring-bar that may not make very many, if any, swaps possible for it's bracelet.

I have seen it done. I do recall the other way around with a gap. I think you could make it work. The spring bar is unique though.

I got my 116234 jubilee bracelet to fit on my GMT LN did not seem to be any tolerance issues, but the DJ springbars seem to be thinner in the endlink than the GMT springbars. From what I’ve read the 126710 springbars pins are wider than normal GMT ones, so you may need to source some normal GMT springbars to do the bracelet swap.

Looks great on the Jubilee Imo

It should fit but might look weird. I've fitted my 116234 jubilee to my BLNR but end links are a little small. You might run into the opposite problem fitting BLRO jubilee to DJ, end links might not look right.

Thank you all !

That's also what I had in mind...

The struggle is "real". Went to my AD yesterday and really preferred the jubilee but I have no bracelets in my collection yet.

2 jubilees feels too much but buying the DJ on Oyster doesn't feel right either.

I know it is my watch but what do you guys think?

Try them both on, I didn’t like the Jubilee until I wore it, now I prefer it to the oyster.
