Fatman Trailer w/Crazy Mel Gibson & Walton Goggins

OK I'm kinda done with Mel and his crazy racism, but I'd be lying if I said this isn't just crazy enough to maybe work...

I always get the feeling that Mel Gibson is a creep playing a nice guy in movies and Walton Goggins is a nice guy playing a creep in movies.

It definitely looks like a wild ride and one worth checking out. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm thinking he's been a racist long before we knew it. Sounds like his personal life is nothing but a mess. All that talent and wealth, too bad he can't be a better person, a better man.

It's been awhile, but I vaguely remember him being caught on tape physically threatening his girlfriend. Frankly I forget all the details. Supposedly he's also an addict or acholic as well.

Mel makes mostly great movies. I don’t know him so I wouldn’t want to speculate on him personally.

I'm in!
I've come to the conclusion that if I avoid movies with actors who's personal agenda, political views, etc I don't agree with then I will have nothing to watch.

Holding a grudge from 2005 are we? I imagine you’ve never said anything stupid when you were hammered before. Then again maybe you haven’t.

To err is human, to forgive is divine

Having said that the movie looks great. Mel Gibson has always been an awesome actor.

No grudges Brett, I just don't take to people who denigrate entire races of people. Then fantasize that blaming others for their own short comings is the right thing to do. I don't see these issues as momentary lapse in judgment or a simple mistake, being drunk or high has NOTHING to do with it. Those are serious character flaws, but I'm fine agreeing to disagree. If you must address me again here, please keep it civil I don't want to see this post locked.

I was perfectly civil. I suppose some might think judgmentalism and especially being unforgiving is uncivil. Only some though.

Agreed, and to add - I find alcohol usually makes people's honest feelings show through

But, as I said above, we must tread carefully or we'll have no actors left to watch LOL.

I'm sure I'll watch it when it comes to Prime or Netflix or HBO or Redbox. I won't go out to see it nor pay $10 or more to watch it.

I'm excited. We always watched Die Hard with my dad growing up as a Christmas movie. My brother and I contributed to that tradition by adding Bad Santa to the mix (not for everyone, but Billy Bob Thornton is great in that holiday-themed raunchy comedy). This might just have potential.

Looks great! I’ve been a huge fan of Walton Goggins since Justified, so I’ll watch it for sure.

Really, and just by saying he's an adduct I somehow denigrated him. Is there a new PC way to say this that's more acceptable to you, or without offending your sensibilities? He's supposedly an addict or acholic, it is what it is.
