YM II Movement Too Delicate

Having picked up the watch,I noticed something that I had to rectify. The beryllium made red ➡ countdown timer pointing 0. I normally leave it to 10 and let the watch do the job.
Long story short,I forgot to push in the button at 4 o'clock position before turning the crown to get to the desired point or minute and messed up the movement.
The red arrow never can be adjusted to 10 and skips 0 -2-4-6-8-10 but rather lockes into uneven numbers or in-between arrow point not. It never lockes into 5 but something like 5.5 or 4.5
I also noticed that flyback sometimes misses 12 o'clock position and even goes as far as 11 position.
The center beryllium arrow rarely goes back to 12 as well. Normally it was going back to 12 o'clock when you reset the movement.
AD will not service the watch because of polished lugs,I have to do it on my own
I am not upset but would like to see Rolex have a patent to protect the movement against wrong owners usage
Please take this into consideration, if you forget the correct procedure to set the countdown timer please don't try to become a pundit

The YM11 movement is just a modded cal 4130 into a 4160 as found in the Daytona so doubt if its delicate its much like using the crono function.

I had a movement problem with my YMII, it wouldn't hack when I pulled the crown out. Mine was under warranty so I had it fixed. Pehaps the 4160 is a trifle delicate after all.

I beat mine up pretty regularly and haven't had any issues yet. Judging from Tom's use of his 116506, I doubt robustness of the 4130 movement (and thus the 4160) is the issue.

Find yourself a different AD; that is not a reason to refuse service. Better yet, send it into the RSC yourself and bypass that ignorant sales outlet.

That sucks that it has to go in to get fixed. I don't think you should label the movement as too delicate though since you admittedly screwed it up on your own. There's operating procedures for that movement for a reason.

Also, what does a "patent to protect the movement against wrong owners usage" even mean? Just follow the instructions.

The YM2's I've owned have not been delicate at all...sorry your experience has not been good.

I haven't had any issues with my 116681, and I've screwed up the order of operations for messing with the egg timer several times before finally committing it to memory.

When I'm adjusting the minute setting, the arrow points slightly off center from the numbers until I turn the bezel back and the arrow adjusts correctly to the center of the designated number it's set to.

You've said this before, but I searched Google and find there are said to be many tiny parts made using UV-Liga, which made this movement possible?

Update :
I have received the watch,it headed to its hometown Geneva after a long and adventurous trips. Now,everything is working up to the notch.
My friend said Rolex tested this watch 1 month before packing it out to its destination. That's impressive, thanks again whoever put his / her hands on this watch
