I've thought about it - I like the red but I'm not sure about the Olympic rings on the second hand, also I wonder how readable it is with the white hands and white dial. The couple of dealers I've looked at didn't have it so I've only seen it in pictures though.

Someone on Craigslist in the Toronto area was selling one up until last week for $3K. The listing has since dropped.

I have mine on layaway. The second hand can be changed by Omega if you/your AD send it in as per my AD.

Congrats - how are you liking the watch? Did you get the 41mm or the mid size?

When I visited my AD last Saturday, his wife showed me "his and hers" Vancouvers and I was quite impressed. Beautiful watches for sure.

He has them available at his regular discount.

I bought one because I live here in Vancouver and spent quite a bit of time at Olympic events, so it was somewhat significant to me. I originally wore it as part of a large rotation, but eventually found I was wearing it less and less.

I'm now going to sell it.

Hey Owen! Is that yours on Craigslist? We exchanged emails about it a while back.

I am attracted to the idea of commemorating the Games because it was such an incredible boost for the city, in all ways. But I am not sure I would wear it much. I do like the way it looks though.

I see you are trying to sell your Speedy Pro and Electric Blue too. Or am I wrong? Got a big ol' grail you are making room for?
