Will it damage BB58 to leave bezel in between clicks?

My Black Bay 58 blue has a little bit of a bezel misalignment issue. No big deal, but in order to get it to line up perfectly with the 12 o clock marker I need to leave it in between clicks. Will leaving it like this do any damage to the watch or bezel mechanism?

Thanks!

No the bezel is meant to be turned you can leave it anywhere at whatever position you want around the dial. And the only place the bezel has to align with is wherever the minute hand is on the dial to time something. It's not meant to be left permanently within a cats whisker of the 12 marker.

The clicking is controlled by a serrated metal circumference with a small spring resting on the metal. Neither will permanently deform when in contact to the other. It's safe to turn the bezel or to leave it stationary at any position!!!

My 116713LN does not have the half hour bezel position I need for my local time difference so I often use it in the half way position.

No harm done so far.

Interesting, cool ! I assumed it wouldn’t be an issue, but still cool to know nonetheless
