Incoming... Toledano & Chan B/1

I don't expect this will be a favorite of many on this forum, but I did want to share.

I've been mildly curious about a few independent watch projects over the last couple years, but when I saw this one I was immediately drawn to it. I love the design elements, and I'm a big fan of the Midas, which this draws inspiration from, and also really appreciate stone dials. Both the Midas and lapis Day-Dates are out of my price range for a while, and so when I saw this I gut-checked and asked myself, "am I just chasing something new being hyped up, or do I really enjoy this?"

Well, I answered my own gut-check in the affirmative. I love the creativity of this project, and everything it draws inspiration from. So I set a calendar reminder for when they were being released, then that morning I dropped the kiddo off at daycare, popped into a coffee shop and fired up the laptop just in time to smash "add to cart." I'm not much of an impulse-buyer and usually research something for months (or longer) but it felt good to pull the trigger on this.

Here's a few pics from the office today, just after opening...

Congrats
There is a thread already a little lower on the page where I posted mine.
It's really a unique watch for sure! Glad to have it in my collection.

FYI Id suggest having a jeweler or watchmaker size it for you!
It's also what Mr Toledano suggested.

I'm very fortunate that it fits me perfectly right out of the box!

Really loving this so far. The only problem is only days after I confessed the purchase to my wife, I went into my AD for a "maintenance hello" and now have another "Incoming!" thread to post soon...
